Day two of 100 push ups for 30 days.
I completed 130 push ups YAY!!!
(my personal goal was 150 though). I was 20 push ups away from meeting my goal. But I PERMITTED my inner demons to get in my way.
I learned a valuable lesson at the end of the day, after meditation, and a little pick me up from my best friend, Denise, my wife.
I was reminded that ego, is a double edged sword.
I was reminded that I have to keep my eyes on the prize.
I was reminded that one can't let other's viewpoint or comments about you get YOU down.
Finally, I was reminded that I can't change the past, I can't predict the future. What I CAN do, is control how I'm going to RESPOND to the game of life.
Seize the day folks, DON'T LET NOTHING STOP YOU FROM ACHIEVING GREATNESS.
